SEAoO returns to The Blackwell Inn on the campus of The Ohio State University for our 2026 Annual Conference. Due to overwhelmingly positive feedback from members, we're returning to The Blackwell for our second year. After a learning curve for the new location last year, SEAoO hopes to adjust the vendor arrangement to allow better engagement with the attendees. We plan on slightly reducing the number of tables in the vendor hall and try and lure more engineers in to visit with you. 2025 was our first attempt with stickers and a BINGO card to use games as an incentive for the attendees to interact with as many of the vendors as possible. We are still committed to finding new ways to get attendees to visit each table and welcome any feedback from your experiences at other conferences that were effective. We'll let everyone know if our plans to change the table layout are successful with the Blackwell staff prior to selecting tables.
As an added benefit for sponsorship, Gold and Silver sponsors are allowed first selection of table locations: The schedule for 2026 will be:
- July 6 to July 15: Gold Sponsors select table numbers
- July 18 to July 29: Silver Sponsors select table numbers
- August 1 +: All other vendors can select their table number
What is not changing is the expanded schedule that allows for an extra break each morning and more time to interact with attendees.
SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Gold Level - $800 – maximum of 6
- Company name will appear in the Conference Program in the front-end list of all sponsors. Also logo on the back cover.
- Company will be recognized at the introduction to the conference.
- Your company’s booth will have Gold Level Signage. Gold Sponsor table selection goes first (July 6th)
- Your company’s name will be prominently displayed on signage at the main entry to the conference.
- Company name will be noted as a SEAoO sponsor for up to one year on the SEAoO website (from the time of your sponsorship until opening vendor registration the following year).
Silver Level - $500 – maximum of 6
- Company name will appear in the Conference Program in the front-end list of all sponsors. Also logo on the back cover (space permitting).
- Company will be recognized at the introduction to the conference.
- Your company’s booth will have Silver Level Signage. Gold Sponsor table selection goes second (July 18th)
- Your company’s name will be prominently displayed on signage at the main entry to the conference.
- Company name will be noted as a SEAoO sponsor for up to six months on the SEAoO website (from the time of your sponsorship until December 31st).
Bronze Level - $300 – no limit
- Company name will appear in the Conference Program as part of the front-end list of all sponsors.
- Company will be recognized at the introduction to the conference.
- Your company’s booth will have Bronze Level Signage.
- Your company’s name will be prominently displayed on signage at the main entry to the conference.
Meal and Break Sponsorships
All of these sponsorship levels will include your name in the Conference Program as well as signage at the entrance.
- Thursday Happy Hour $250 Two sponsors available for our Thursday evening event
- Meal Sponsor $200 Two breakfast opportunities and two lunch opportunities
- Coffee Break $150 Covers all six of the snack breaks each year, unlimited number of sponsors.
Dates and Hours:
Setup for the conference should be the evening of Wednesday, September 9th. We do need to negotiate with The Blackwell to determine the start time that evening and will post the time closer to the event.
September 10th and 11th, 2026 (Thursday-Friday). Events extend throughout the days as shown in the detailed daily agendas shown below.
Professional Development Hours:
Vendors are welcome to attend sessions for a total of 14 hours. Please note that while these hours are fully applicable for Ohio and its surrounding states, we do not certify these hours for the states that have special requirements (FL and NY for example).
Pricing:
Vendor Table and Two Representatives: $950
Each additional Representative: $150
Hotel Pricing:
A block of rooms has been reserved at The Blackwell Inn. Mention you are part of the SEAoO group in order to get the discounted room rate. Parking:
Trying to validate parking last year was difficult. Therefore cost of parking has been removed from ticket prices for 2026. There is a parking structure adjacent to The Blackwell Inn.
Schedule:
Preliminary schedule showing break times between events. There will also be Young Member and Sustainable track presentations scheduled opposite some of the Main Hall speakers. A full schedule will follow prior to member registration.
