Project Type:  Church renovation and expansion.

Description: Poor coordination between project manager and the structural engineer results in a design that can't be constructed. The contractor works with another engineer to move the project forward. When the contractor removes the shoring from the free-span ceiling, the roof drops several inches and causes an outward deflection on the beams. Accusations fly and experts opine.
