Combined SEAoO/ACI Luncheon: New ACI 318-14 Code  (1.0 PDH)

Key Learning Objectives:

• Learn the new code requirements incorporated in ACI 318-14
• Understand the philosophy and layout of the restructured format of ACI 318
• Overview of the responsibilities of the licensed design professional regarding information included in construction documents

Presenter:
Julie Cromwell, P.E. (THP Limited)

Ms. Julie Cromwell, PE is a structural engineer with over sixteen years of technical design and complex project management experience.  She graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Structural Engineering. Julie is a Principal at THP Limited Inc. a structural engineering consulting firm headquartered in Cincinnati, Ohio.  She is responsible for the planning, design, and construction administration for multiple, large scale, reinforced concrete projects.

In addition to her work at THP, Julie is also involved in many professional and community organizations and activities.  She is a Past President and current committee chair of the ASCE Cincinnati Section; Practitioner Advisor for the University of Cincinnati Student ASCE Chapter; board member and chair of the Student Scholarship Committee for the Greater Miami Valley Chapter of the American Concrete Institute (ACI); member of the Post-Tensioning Institute (PTI); adjunct faculty and Advisory Board Member for the University of Cincinnati; and also serves as the structural engineer representative for the Cincinnati Board of Building Appeals.
