An evening for Structural Engineers - Seasoned, Young, and Prospective. Hosted by our SEAoO-UT student chapter.
This is a mixer event to acquaint young engineers with the trials and triumphs of our profession and will benefit both our experienced and future structural engineers. Students interested in the structural engineering profession are encouraged to attend to gain valuable insight on the journey ahead. Recent graduates will be presenting their experiences on projects, jobs, and work atmosphere, in essence, a glimpse of what our future structural engineers can look forward to. Seasoned engineers are requested to attend and faciliate dinner discussion and encourage students. Attendees will receive 1 PDH. Please dress in business attire. Students are encouraged to bring their resumes in preparation for next week's Spring Career Expo.

Presenter BIOS:
Antonio Verne, P.E.
Antonio graduated from Penn State University in 2008 with a Bachelor and Master degree in Architectural Engineering. Upon graduating, he worked for Ruby+Associates in Farmington Hills, Michigan, where he focused on connection design and construction engineering. In late 2010, Antonio transitioned from the consulting business, and worked for Owens-Illinois, a glass manufacturer in Perrysburg, Ohio. Here he focused on heavy industrial glass furnace binding and support structures. Since 2013, Antonio has worked for the jdi group, Inc. in Maumee, Ohio as a senior structural engineer. His focus continues to be mostly industrial, which includes the automotive, glass, manufacturing, and refining business sectors. Antonio is well-versed in steel, concrete, and masonry design and typically leads a wide array of projects of varying size and complexity. He is a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in four States and an active member of the SEAoO Toledo chapter.
